Going to Trinidad is a true story drawn from the colorful history of our beloved Colorado. Use Your Heart Before Your Voice.
THE ELBOW BROTHERS
COLORADO ROOTS
The Elbow Brothers are a Roots Rock quartet from Lyons, Colorado playing original songs and deep-cut covers that highlight the band’s vocal harmonies and technical chops. Their original material combines the sounds and flavors of the great Roots and Americana artists with new and old stories of the American West, the Colorado Plains, and the Rocky Mountains. Their boogie-friendly tempos and decidedly local approach to story-telling have made them a regular presence at Boulder County music venues and private events.
The Brothers are currently booking gigs along the Front Range for 2025 in support of their forthcoming album, recorded at Wreckingroom and Vermillion Road studios in 2024 and 2025.
We’re very excited to share with you the first song from our upcoming album, available now wherever you get your music. “Saint Vrain Canyon” is inspired by our beloved hometown of Lyons, Colorado, and the beautiful canyons and world-famous quarries that surround it. The album we’ve recorded is filled with new and old stories of the American West, the Colorado Plains, and the Rocky Mountains, and we’ll be sharing them all in the coming months. This song was not only inspired by the Saint Vrain Valley, it was also written, performed, recorded, and mixed here. We sure hope you enjoy it.
